Keli Gwyn
Bio
I write what I love to read: sweet inspirational historical romances with happy endings. I began writing in 2006 and spend countless hours with my characters. My stories are set in the heart of California’s Gold Country where I live in a small town nestled at the base of the beautiful Sierra Nevadas with my science teacher hubby and our two skitty kitties, Dandy and Sandy. Despite sporting cat fur wherever I go, I'm leading a wonderful life.

Back in the Dark Ages, I earned my B.A. in Mass Communication/Print Journalism from California State University East Bay. Since it took me eleven years to get my four-year degree, I count this as quite an accomplishment. In my pre-motherhood days I worked as an assistant editor for a small textbook publishing company, a job I loved because I'm one of those strange people who really digs details. When the Middle Ages arrived (yeah, mine) and our daughter entered high school, I dusted off my lifelong dream and embarked on my writing journey.

I'm a member of American Christian Fiction Writers, Romance Writers of America®, and Toastmasters. My debut novel, A Bride Opens Shop in El Dorado, California, an inspirational historical romance, will be released by Barbour Publishing in July 2012.

When my fingers aren’t hovering over my keyboard, I enjoy strolling past the Victorian homes in my historic town, feeling the wind in my hair when Gwynly takes me for rides in his classic British sports car, and spending time with our college daughter. My favorite places to visit are my fictional worlds, the Coach factory outlet store, and Taco Bell.
